You cannot make this stuff up. Illinois Senator Burris has paid $3,000 on his mortgage since he got it in 2006, but no foreclosure pending. Maybe he can get a spot on the Senate Banking Committee chaired by Mr. Sweetheart Countrywide mortgage, the man now known as the Nutmeg State Nixon, Christopher Dodd.
